With the release of the new Barbie movie, we had to jump on the amazing PINK trend ourselves with our own Sugar Creek twist! Inspired by Margot Robbie’s western pink outfit in the movie, we dreamed up our own vision with a nod to the vintage Western Barbie for this editorial!
The lounge area had to be all pink, of course, including custom SC pillows we are debuting (Pink Cowhide or Pink Southwestern Pillows)! Bernadette Pink Sofa is the anchor of this set. Featuring our new Annabelle Chair and Charlotte Chairs all placed in front of one of our Custom Backdrop Panels. The small details in this design include: Assorted Wooden Side Tables, Ceramic Boot, Cowboy Hats, Vintage Wooden Spools, Gold Display Box, Vintage Books, lots of Pink Pillows, and Pink Faux Fur Rugs.
No Barbie-core look is complete in the land of Sugar Creek without a custom tablescape! We call ourselves lucky to work with some talented floral designers. One such talent, Justine with Justine’s Flowers, had recently provided some floral in one of our lounges that we were able to bring back to the studio with us. We made some swaps to add in the pink and ta-da! A stunning floral showpiece for the table. We used the Pink Southwest print for napkins & used some of the pink cowhide to create a table runner. Additional details include our Rose Stoneware Dinner Plate & Rose Stoneware Salad Plate, Mismatched Silver Flatware, Bleached Fringe Chargers, Light Blue Goblets, Pink Goblets, Vintage Wooden Candle Holders, Vintage Wooden Bud Vases, and dried floral.
