I’m Taylor, the owner & creative mind behind Sugar Creek.
I LOVE: chai tea, football, the “BER” months, vintage treasure hunting, adventuring through Colorado on our SxS/UTV, time spent with family & friends, working out, reading & food. I wear many entrepreneur hats including hosting a weekly podcast, The Purposely Aligned Entrepreneur, being a landlord, running a roofing & construction company, buying real estate, and last, but certainly not least, designing & styling fun gatherings & events.

>> I’m an INFJ & Enneagram 1w9.
>> I graduated from TCU (Go FROGS!) with a degree in Kinesiology and a business minor.
>> I read over 50 books every year (Lucy Score, Mary Kay Andrews, G. K. Parks, Sue Grafton & Susan M. Boyer are some of my favorite authors).
>> I can sing Row-Row-Row-Your-Boat forwards and backwards.
>> I support No Kids Hungry & my local foodbanks every chance I get.
THE HISTORY OF SUGAR CREEK
My family arrived to the United States at a port in Georgia and eventually made their way to Arkansas. Wanting to grow roots and call Arkansas home, my great-great-great grandfather purchased land directly from the state which my family still calls home. Meandering through my family’s land is this blue-green sugary looking creek called Sugar Creek. The creek starts at the top of the Ouachita Mountains and makes it way down to the Petit Jean River. As far back as high school, I can remember thinking to myself that I would one day have a business named after this creek. It has such a lasting meaning to me knowing that it helped serve my family for many generations.
Sugar Creek Event Rentals was originally founded in 2014 under a different name. It was created between 2 friends, a baby shower and a mutual love of treasure hunting and grew into something quite amazing. In 2017, I rebranded into my own Specialty Event Rental company and selected the name Sugar Creek. A business name with deep family roots.
The Sugar Creek TAYLOR’d Collection is available for a multitude of events including weddings, corporate gatherings, conferences, baby showers, bridal shower, birthday parties and commercial work such as tv and film.
