Tell us a little bit about your Fort Worth Wedding Planning & Design Company.
I’m a TCU Graduate who was born and raised in Fort Worth – I love DFW too much to leave! I met my husband while cocktail waitressing in college, he had just finished his Masters and was waiting tables while looking for a job in his field. We fell in love and the rest is history! I’m a huge animal lover, and have been a vegetarian since I was 16 years old. We have 3 cats (all rescues) and a GreatPyrenees mix who thinks she’s a lap dog (even though she’s pushing 90 pounds). I absolutely love wedding planning, and have been in the business since 2014. Seeing clients dream days become real life is so exciting to me, I love being a small part of making their days happy and perfect! I offer everything from coordination, to design, to full planning. Most of my packages are totally customizable to each client’s needs and budget.

How did you get into Wedding Planning & Wedding Design?
Like 90% of the planners out there – I planned my own wedding! Hah!
What is your preferred style of weddings to plan (ie. a specific theme, aesthetic)?
This one is hard – I feel like creativity is always flowing, adapting and changing. My favorite part is being able to take a clients basic ideas (usually on a pinterest board) and work with other professionals to make it something really fun, custom and unique to the couple.

What’s your favorite part of the job?
I have two favorite parts:
1. When all our months of working together is over, and we’re about to open the doors for the bride to walk down the aisle – she always takes a deep breath and seeing the love between two people – like when the groom sees his bride for the first time and you see that realization and love in his eyes – it always makes my heart flutter.
2. Seeing how all the pieces come together. I don’t think people really realize just how much goes into a wedding – the florals, the rentals, the signage and invitations… Seeing how all the months of planning turned out and how it all comes together makes me so proud.
What are your hobbies or non-work related activities?
I enjoy working out – barre workouts are my favorite. I also love to binge watching Netflix with my husband, going to farmers markets, and hanging on patios with friends.
What is your current favorite color combination?
Midnight blue, with creams, peaches and pops of plum and marsala.
Are there any wedding trends that you absolutely love?
Color!! I love that we’re seeing color back in weddings. Don’t get me wrong – I love a classic white wedding, but all the greenery, pinks, blues, marsalas just really makes a wedding stand out.

1. Amber & Trevor’s Organic, Greenery Wedding
This one was fabulous because the couple was SO sweet and they had such a great idea for the design of their wedding. They had so many wonderful personal touches as well, like sprigs of rosemary on each place setting and cookies in the shape of Michigan (where they met).
2. Lara & Matt’s Al Fresca Garden Wedding
I love this wedding because the couple was just so in love and they had such a great story – he moved from Alaska to Texas to be with her! They merged families and there was just so much love on the day. Since it was an April Fools Day wedding, the groom pretended to forget the rings and kept pulling toys and streamers out of his pocket instead.
3. Ashley & Andy’s Rustic and Romantic Wedding
This one is one of my favorites because there was just so much wonderful color involved and it ended up being so unique and beautiful.
What tips or advice can you give to couples who are in the midst of planning?
Can I say hire a planner? Haha I’d say that you should really at the very least have a month of coordinator – to help take the stress of it all off you!
